About us:

PRIMA was founded in Sweden in 2010 by Henrik, a passionate racing cyclist with a strong connection to the heritage and fashion of bike racing. The company started as a reaction to the difficulty of finding great looking and high end garments for riding, training and racing that were also made using a sustainable manufacturing process. Since the beginning of PRIMA our goal is to celebrate the heritage of the sport while keeping a sharp focus on environmentally friendly production and material research. On our search to find these materials, we discovered that there was none. So we decided to do it ourselves!

In the early years of PRIMA, all clothes were made from fabrics developed by us and knitted in Sweden. All garments were sewn by a seamstress on the island of Gotland. All patterns were made to fit the modern standards and the designs were made to celebrate the history of bike racing. The seamstress has now retired and access to sustainable fabric has gotten better and wider ranges are introduced all the time. All garments are now carefully manufactured by our tailors in northern Italy using hand picked fabrics with patterns designed for a perfect fit for all riders at all levels. The design process is the same and is now incorporated in our environmental work. To stand the test of time.

PRIMA is the choice for cyclists that want to look great and also feel great. We spend hours in the saddle every week testing and developing our garments. PRIMA is still owned and operated by devoted cyclists. Our passion is to create the perfect garments for a great look and a great feel - on and off the bike!
